WHO ARE WE? The Principal in the company is Peter G. Baker, HBA who has had many years of experience in the field of municipal parking. He has operated a major Parking Authority and been responsible for developing creative business plans involving street meters, pay and display systems systems, pay-on-foot systems, on-street and off-street programs, plus the cost/benefit analysis of various options surrounding land purchases/leases, etc. He is active in several professional organizations and is a Past President of the Canadian Parking Association.

General Manager of the Parking Authority of the City of Hamilton:
- Responsible for the controlled municipal parking within the city including on-street meters and off-street parking spaces in parking facilities and structures.
- Management involved the research, study, and implementation of new parking rates, revenue control equipment (Parking meters, Pay and Display equipment, Pay-on-foot systems), credit card applications collections, maintenance, building programs including structured and surface carpark design, and real estate acquisition and disposition.
- Strategic Planning of Municipal parking (both on-street meters and offstreet carparks) formed the background of many parking initiatives in this community.
- Directly involved in the RFP, selection, and implementation of "Pay-on-Foot" systems for two major parking facilities with a total of 1600 parking stalls.
- Past President of the Canadian Parking Association, and recipient of the Ted Seeberg Memorial Award in recognition of significant contributions to the Canadian Parking Industry.

- Consultant on projects in various Ontario municipalities with the objective of improving the financial and service components of publicly held parking facilities.
- A sampling of recent assignments include:
- (1)the development of strategic parking plans for the City of London and advising the City on how best to balance the needs of commerce (and BIA’s), the shopping public, and those living in Central Business District (These plans include all aspects of parking meter management, all parking enforcementpractices and future objectives.
(2) Planning, re-zoning, and contracting out for the expansion of parking facilities for the Hamilton and Burlington District Real Estate Board.
(3.1) Assisting with studies respecting the needs of hospital parking at a major Hamilton health facility.
(3.2) advising and recommending special revenue controls for this same facility;
(4) Developing a series of parking studies on behalf of a major Canadian manufacturer in three countries in Central America and the Caribbean
(5) Partnering with a transportation engineering firm in a large parking strategy study for the City of Cambridge, Ontario, which included all parking controls, municipal carparks, signage, zoning and parking enforcement by-laws, and by-law officer training.
(6) Assisting with a study to determine best locations and types of revenue control systems for five new proposed parking facilities in Downtown Kitchener.
(7) Implemented the principles of the Cambridge Parking strategy report by writing the Request for Proposal for all parking equipment to be used in several city locations and then overseeing the work.
(8)Advised on strategy to the City of Sarnia respecting the location and method of operating its parking services section.
(9) Wrote the terms of reference for improvements to the parking areas provided by the City of St. Catharines, specifically at its site in Port Dalhousie.
(10) Provided consulting advice to a major retail supplier of automobile parts on the servicing of vehicles within parking facilities in the City of Toronto.
(11) Set up the criteria and terms of reference for new revenue control equipment in the main parking garage (RFP) and surface carparks of the City of Brantford.
(12) Parking Revenue control projects at the Ottawa Hospital, Humber College, and Seneca College (Toronto).
(13) Completed a comprehensive on-street meter audit complete with recommendations for improved practices.
(14) Analysis of parking operations and revenue collection for the City of Peterborough.
(15) Currently preparing the RFP for a totally new parking revenue system for McMaster University in Hamilton.
- Provided parking consulting information to a major Kitchener hospital in partnership with a large Toronto Transportation Consulting firm. This has involved the creation of parking principles unique to this health facility.
- On behalf of a development company, created a parking site including management processes for a major off-site location near a large Ontario University.
- Have advised the Corporation of the Town of Dundas on the privatization of its parking meter and enforcement operation. (This work encompassed a need for balance between the critical provision of service vs public and financial viability.)
